About New Nepal.Org
New Nepal.Org
is a non-profit organization based in New Jersey, USA. Its goal is to
support Nepalese communities in Nepal through local chapter /
representatives / NGOs whose mission is to uplift the lives of Nepali
people. We welcome those who share our goals and are willing to join
our initiatives.
New Nepal Education
Programme-2007
New Nepal.Org announced
its New Nepal Education Programme-2007
at Dharampur High School, Thulolumpek,
Gulmi, Nepal. New Nepal.Org will
donate a new Desk Top Computer and is planning to grant as many as 20
scholarships per academic year, equally distributed to boys and girls.
Local oversight will be provided by our representative NGO, Rural
Development & Awareness Group (RUDAG). RUDAG
has already implemented several successful programmes which include
literacy education, micro finance and rural sanitation in over 200
villages in Gulmi District. There are currently 525 children enrolled in Dharampur
High School with a staff of 16 teachers.
